Hello, and welcome to Kappa Recruitment! I’m Niki, and I’m thrilled to be the 2017 membership chair of the Beta Phi chapter here at UM. Kappa Kappa Gamma is an organization that promotes “friendship, mutual support, opportunities for self-growth, respect for intellectual development, and an understanding of and an allegiance to positive ethical principles.” I know that I am not just speaking for myself, but for the whole chapter, when I say that I have found all this and more in Kappa, and I hope you will too. We look forward to sharing many of the amazing aspects of our wonderful sisterhood with each and every one of you.
Formal recruitment is in the beginning of fall semester and is one of our favorite times of the year because we get to meet all of our future sisters! Going through formal recruitment is a great way to see and meet with each sorority, meet new people, and ultimately, find your home away from home. Whether you are definite or unsure about joining a sorority, I highly encourage you to go through recruitment. The recruitment process is an incredible experience where you have the opportunity to meet hundreds of amazing girls, some of whom will be friends for a lifetime, and many you will never forget. If you're interested in formal recruitment you can follow this link to register. Fall 2017 formal recruitment runs September 10th-16th. For more detailed information about the formal recruitment schedule please contact Michael Hood Director of Fraternity & Sorority Involvement at Michael.Hood@mso.umt.edu or 406-243-2049.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you are interested in formal or informal recruitment or have any questions! We look forward to meeting you!
