Hi there! My name is Alex Akmal and I am the 2020 Membership Chair of the Beta Phi chapter. Here at Kappa Kappa Gamma, we firmly believe in promoting “bonds of friendship, mutual support, opportunities for self-growth, respect for intellectual development, and an understanding of and an allegiance to positive ethical principles.” Each and every one of our members can speak to how these values appear in her day-to-day life, and how having a group of women who believe in these same things leads to an incredible community. We look forward to showing you more about our values and telling you more about our chapter when we meet you!
Formal recruitment might look a little different this year, but we are still unbelievably excited to get to meet the wonderful women and find out who will be joining our sisterhood! Going through formal recruitment is a special and unique experience where you can form Panhellenic bonds with other women going through it, and also form early bonds with members of the houses you speak with. We love being able to meet so many different women- Biology majors from Billings, Pre-laws from Pennsylvania, Communications from California, and so many more! If you would like to be a part of this truly life-changing experience, you can register for Formal recruitment at the link below.
If Formal recruitment isn’t for you, that’s okay! During fall semester once Formal Recruitment is over, sometimes we still have a little extra room in our sisterhood. We understand that there are empowered women who share our values who didn’t want to go through the formal process but might still be interested in sorority life. If this sounds like you, feel free to reach out to us or attend some of our informal events! You can reach out or find this information on our Instagram kkg_montana or by sending me an email at the address listed below.
We believe every woman has the potential to be a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma and the Beta Phi chapter, and can’t wait to meet all of you and find out if you want to be a Kappa too!
